ЗАДАНИЕ №1

Dear Paul, Hello!

How are you? Thanks for your letter. I am writing to you to tell you about my new life.

My new apartment is fantastic. It is located in Russia in the city of Samara, next to the embankment. There is a good repair and beautiful furniture. There are three large rooms with huge windows. From there you have a beautiful view of the Volga River, the beach, and on the other side of the apartment, the city. Also, there is a large kitchen and bathroom, where there is a jacuzzi and shower with radio and lighting. You should definitely come and see it.

I have already met some neighbors and they invited me to dinner. I haven't made friends yet, but I've seen a few guys my age.

In general, that's all for now. Take care of yourself and stay connected.
Best wishes

Mark

ЗАДАНИЕ №2
Getting a job is a very hard period in the life of most people. Companies choose an employee from hundreds of candidates according to special rules, that is why there are special «typical» factors, influencing on employer’s choice. Among such factors are: age, sex, experience, family background and marital status, personality and references.

If you are to go to an interview tomorrow, sleep well before it and do not forget your CV at home — is the basic rule. Moreover, there are some recommendations, which can help you. For example, read annual report, or a newspaper of the company to show your understanding of the corporate strategy on the interview. What is more, you should choose corresponding dress code for the interview. Even such advices are to help you make a good impression; some companies do not want to hire a man, who follows every advice. If your CV is composed according to all rules, we would not choose you, as we might think, that your profession is to acquire a job».

To conclude, I can say that it is sometimes hard not only to get a job, but also to work in the staff, and if you do not want to be laid off, you should follow company rules, it is a must.

ЗАДАНИЕ №3

Hello, my friend!

Sorry for not answering any of your emails. The past week has been busy and very interesting.

I sometimes volunteer. Recently, this movement has become especially popular in society, fashionable and prestigious among young people. I saw a job posting this week. I have experience as a volunteer - last year I helped immigrants in finding temporary housing and work. This year I also want to be useful and help people. I am not paid for my work, but I still try to help people who are in a difficult situation. By volunteering, you can get the necessary professional skills. Participation in various projects is encouraged by certificates with a list of personal achievements, which will be a definite plus when applying for a job.

ЗАДАНИЕ №6
In economics, unemployment refers to the condition and extent of joblessness within an economy, and is measured in terms of the unemployment rate, which is the number of unemployed workers divided by the total civilian labor force. Hence, unemployment is the condition of not having a job, often referred to as being "out of work", or unemployed

The terms unemployment and unemployed are sometimes used to refer to other inputs to production that are not being fully used, for example, unemployed capital goods.

The history of unemployment is the history of industrialization. It was not considered an issue in rural areas, despite the "disguised unemployment" of rural laborers having little to do, especially in conditions of overpopulation.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) produces official estimates of unemployment using the International Labour Organization definition. Under this definition people aged 16 and over are unemployed if they are out of work, want a job, have actively sought work in the last four weeks and are available to start work in the next two weeks; or are out of work, have found a job and are waiting to start it in the next two weeks.

Unemployment levels are increasing dramatically in many parts of the world. There are several causes behind this increasing rate. But the main reason for the high level of unemployment is technological progress. In a fewer year far less working hours are needed to produced all the goods that are required, hence there will be less demand of labour. This can lead more to the raise of unemployment ratio.

On the other hand, traditionalism, ignorance and over population etc are some other major cause that led to the raise of unemployment.

Today, unemployment data are useful for a variety of reasons. The government use unemployment along with other labour market indicators for macro-economic and labour market management. Data are also supplied to a range of international organizations such as the European Central Bank. In the social policy domain, unemployment is used as an indicator of relative hardship.
Today, unemployment is the major crisis worldwide, to keep check on it is very much essential, it is you, who can change the word unemployment into employment.
