Modern civilization is not without reason called technogenic. The scale of technical activity, the capabilities of technology are incomparable with anything in the history of mankind. Information technologies have firmly entered our daily life, transforming social space and time. New scientific disciplines arise and develop, such as bioengineering, nanotechnology, materials science, artificial intelligence systems are widely used, etc.
But on the other hand, global problems are more and more asserting themselves: this is the alarming ecological situation in the world, non-renewable sources of natural resources are being depleted, the biological degradation of humans is deepening, more and more epidemics of new diseases and viruses are emerging, and mutations of already known viruses appear. Already a commonplace has become the idea that technologies that have entered our lives bring not only benefits, but also harm, creating irreversible negative consequences for civilization.
