In order to answer the question – whether it is possible to measure success with money – you need to understand what success is.
In Russian, the word "success "comes from the word" catch " (single-rooted words). From this we can conclude that successful are those people who have time.
They have time to achieve the goal, to realize the dream, to fulfill themselves.
So my answer is no. Success is not always measured by money, because the goals and values are different.
And successful is the one who goes his own way, achieving his goals. And money can serve as a tool to achieve them.
However, for many people, the word "success" is related to the benefits of a person. What's his house, what car, what Bank account, what fashion designer he dresses in. And finally, if you associate success with human health, it is also important in what clinic he can afford to be treated. In the same way as in the caveman time, when the successful is the one who is more likely to bring production.
Now we do not hunt, but just go to the store and buy this prey, and the more money a person has – the more he can buy. Now of course there are much more benefits - car, apartment, appliances and gadgets, and even the work of other people. Another question is how a person got the money-stole, took from parents, cheated or earned their abilities... but as they say, money does not smell and the person on the "Bentley" will be considered successful no matter how he bought it.
And whether it is possible to call successful the person who has no money. In some cases, Yes. It all depends on what goals this person sets for himself. Maybe he likes to grow flowers. And he's got a great flower garden on his lot. No money, but there are wonderful flowers. He therefore considers himself successful.
Therefore, in the end, success is not measured by money. But it all depends on what a person considers a success.
