Friends
are very important in the life of every person.
Why
friends are needed? Firstly, when you have friends you don't feel
lonely. When a friend is around we are comfortable and safe.
Secondly, these are people who will help in a difficult moment.
Friends spend with us happy and sad minutes. Also you can tell
them any secret. They make our life more happy.
I
would like to tell you about my best friend. She's name Olya. We
know each other more than ten years. She is outspoken. When we
together we are talking about everything. Also she is sharp and
considerate. She open-minded and I can tell her anything. Most of
all I like that she is very strong-minded and hard-working person.
We
like watching films together, cooking or just walking. We always
have fun, no matter what we do. She is my unbiological sister.

A person who is important to you
All
of us have important people in their live. Without such people our
life seems to be impossible. In my life the most important persons
is my parents.
As
for my Mum's personality, she is frank and friendly person. My Dad
is restrained and tender. Also both of them are sensitive. When I
was small, they tried to explain me what is good and what is bad,
what is right and what is wrong. They always help me and give
advice. I can always trust them and they will not let me down. I
know that they will always be on my side.
Parents
are the closest people in the world for every child. I am strongly
convinced that those children who haven't parents are very
unhappy. I am very lucky that I have them and I proud of them.

A place you would like to visit
Travelling
is a good way to spend your time. I would like to travel abroad
more in the future.
There
are many wonderful places in the world that I'd like to see.
However, my longtime dream is to visit the Great Britain. Great
Britain is an island country in the north-west of Europe. My
destination is the capital London. In my opinion, London is one of
the most diverse and interesting cities on our planet.
The
first reason why I would like to visit this city is see new sights
and explore new places. The first destination is London eye. Also
I want to get to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Oxford,
Westminster Abbey and others places. I want to broaden my
horizons. It is known that London has many museums and I would
like to visit many of them. Another reason is to improve my
English skills. I will try to talk more with native language
speakers. Addition, I want to meet new people.
Generally,
this trip should be incredible and exiting. I think that I will
get back there again.

Travelling
is a good way to spend your time. Modern life is impossible
without travelling. Millions of tourists go abroad to different
places during the year.
Travelling
has become much cheaper now. Thousands people decide not to go to
the travel agency but to organize they journey by themselves. They
book the flight and the apartment, organize the entertainment part
and enjoy it.
People
travel for different reasons. Some people travel to relax, to have
a rest after a working year. Some people travel on business trip.
Others travel to explore new places, learn new skills, meet new
people, learn a new language or broaden their horizons.
St.
Petersburg is a very beautiful city with a wonderful and unique
architecture. Our city is very popular for tourists all year
round. I would recommend them visiting such popular places as St.
Isaac's and Kazan's cathedrals, Peter and Paul Fortress, Palace
Square and especially going to the Hermitage. Also every tourist
should visit the fountains in Peterhof.

Career

on it. Choosing a profession we need to understand that job
shouldn't be too time-consuming, boring, stressful.
I
have chosen a civil engineering. I finished special courses and
most of time I spent on subjects such as math and physics. Now we
have a lot of disciplines in university and we need to be fluency
in them all. For example, we study mechanic of materials and
constructional materials. Knowledge of these disciplines doesn't
guarantee reliable job but gives an opportunity to become an
excellent specialist. English language gives prospects for later
development because communication in other language let cooperate
with foreign employers.
As for
me, I want well paid and reliable job. I ready spend time in
different business trips. A working day schedule should be
flexible because that will let me work at any time I can.

learn English. At the moment I know it badly so all aspects of
English are difficult for me. Now I started to study English more
intensively. For this, I do my homework. When I have a free time I
watch video on YouTube channels. I see that my English became
better and I hope, that this will continue in the future.
All
in all, learning foreign languages is a very important process and
I am glad that people realize it and start learning them.

people from different countries to develop friendship and

people want to improve their language skills they should more
practice it. For this they need to read more books in language,
write unknown words in the dictionary. Also, they can watch movies
with subtitles and later without. The best way is to plunge into
the environment of the language. It is necessary to go to a
country where people speak in this language and communicate with
native language speakers.
I'd
obviously like to learn Spanish. I'll explain some reasons of this
decision. First of all, I really love the way it sounds. I find
this language really beautiful and impressive. Also, I want to go
to Spanish.

Advertising
has been changing for years. Advert's are no longer purely
informative and focused on the product. Take for example an
advertisement of Coca-Cola. Which is considered as one of the
most memorable in the world. Recognizable logo is important and
the Coca-Cola company knows it. Their bottle design is really
eye-caching and every time we see it we recognize Coca-Cola. Also,
their slogan is not annoying. Catchy slogan helps people to make a
connection with the product what makes advertisement successful.
I
have chosen this advertising because it belongs to AIDA formula. A
is for attention. I is for interest. D is for desire. A is for
action. This advertising make us want the product and motivate to
buy it. Company also demonstrates an attention grabbing,
eye-catching on TV commercial.
I
can't say is Coca-Cola healthy or not I would not recommend to
drink it children. For other people Coca-Cola could not bring any
harm.

advertising is very important for any business, so no surprise
that some companies spend millions a year on advertisement. There
are many different types of advertisement. Internet, Social Media,
Email, TV, Radio, Billboards, Leaflets, Phone calls.
I
like advertising that is located on billboards, because sometimes
you can see something interesting. For example, the nearest
concerts of artists, premieres of theaters or something else.
A
good Ad should make you think, laugh, talk about it, or at least
make you look twice. I think that there are some rules for good
advertising. First of all ad should be memorable, eye-catching,
and it does not mislead. Good ad connects with audience, their
needs and desires. It must get us interested, make us want the
product and motivate us to go out and by it. As it is product ad
then it should have a catchy slogan and instantly recognizable
logo.
So,
ad is in our lives every day. Therefore, it should be of high
quality, relevant and eye-catching, imaginative.

All
people want to become successful but not at all it turns out. In
my opinion, Steve Jobs can be called a successful man. He lived in
America in eighteens of the last century. He created the company
that produced computers and other gadgets. He was smart,
enterprising, hardworking and resourceful man, I think that these
qualities helped him to achieve the goal. Also it seems to me that
the main things in achieving business success are fresh ideas and
unconventional vie of the world.

people today are try to go into business. But few people come to
success. I think that this is a very hard and long/slow process.
For
beginning you need to choose area of your business. In my opinion
preferable area is construction. Businessmen should solve what
services will provide his company. Next he needs to recruit good
staff, which will work responsibly.
In
business plan you should include income and expenses and
recoupment of the project. You can face payback and unemployment
problems. But no matter what, you will succeed.

Machine or electronic device you would like to buy
I
would like to buy VR glasses. In spite of rather high price, VR
glasses are worth it. It looks like a small box with a futuristic
design. It has an innovative technology that allows you to see
computer graphics with binocular eyesight. With this technology
you can go on a guide trip without travelling. Also VR glasses are
used for playing games. It’s very exciting. Using your limbs
like in real life you can control your character as yourself and
feel virtual world like a real one. I’m sure that it quite new
technology with a great potential and it will be developed with
time. That’s why I want to get VR glasses and test this
wonderful technology.

Nowadays,
many companies understand that they need effective logo. I think
that the logo is effective when it is eye-catching.
In
my opinion one of the most effective and famous logos is Apple’s
logo. The latest logo is far from its original version. Firstly,
it was Isaac Newton sitting under the tree with a hanging apple
above him. Then it was a rainbow apple. And today logo is a beaten
metallic apple. The main advantage of this logo is its simplicity.
However, this does not prevent him from being very stylish. Also,
thanks to the products the apple logo is very recognizable. Every
teenager knows their logo.
Successful
companies must have a good logo. People seeing the logo should
immediately remember the name of the company.

First day at university
The
first day at the university was long-awaited and memorable. I was
filled with emotions because of new opportunities. I met many new
people and got so many friends. We were greeted by adapters, who
gave us different games. That day I found a lot in common with all
classmates and made friends with them. This was the first course.
And at the end of the day I was glad that I entered this
university and was so excited about the expectation of a new day.
I will not lie, it was a bit restless and scary. But I drove away
bad thoughts, because I knew that everything would be fine.

is a very important part of life for everybody, I think. School

would like to tell you about the lesson, which I had in 11 grade
in school. This lesson was about profession of civil engineer,
because we were finishing school and we needed to choose our
future profession. This lesson was conducted by a university
lecturer of civil engineering. She told about purpose of this
profession and about perspectives of this direction. This lesson
impressed me to choose this profession so I decided to educate in
this university.
Every
person chooses whom to become in the future. Based on this
solution everybody chooses university, which helps achieve him his
aims in life.

find out. Also, phone is very important for work. For example, it
needs to communicate with company partners or customers.

conclusion, I would like to say that the phone is very important
in our life and make it much more easy.

There
are so many constructions around the world; so many that we see
every day. It could be an office or a house or may be something
with historical importance. No matter what, there are certain
buildings which impress us.
The
construction that impressed me is Eifel Tower which is located in
Paris. It is the most recognizable sight landmark of this city.
The Eiffel Tower became a symbol of France and an object of
admiration. The base of the tower is a pyramid, and then the next
pyramid rises. Then the four columns approach each other and form
a column. The height of the Eiffel Tower today is 324 meters. The
tower has a metal construction.
The
tower shocked me with beauty and its unusual shape. Especially at
night it looks inexpressibly beautiful, because the tower begins
to glow with lights.

Nowadays
the fashion changes too fast. Every year, every month there are
lots of new things which become trendy. In my opinion, there are a
great fashion on Iphone. Apple is one of the most recognizable

people buy iPhone because it has a good camera. It allows you to
take high-quality pictures. Also, iPhone has a powerful processor,
so it does not have a problem in operation. And even after long
using it works fine, unlike other phones. It is easy to manage. It
is very important that it has a beautiful and stylish design. It
attracts many buyers.
I
have an iPhone and it satisfying me almost in everything. I like
the way it works and what functions it has. But still he has one
shortage/lack. I think that it has a high price, which we overpay
for the brand.

video blog on Youtube. It is very trendy, because everyone can
sudden wake up famous. These trends give people the opportunity to
share their lives with all world.
I
follow the Instagram and have my account on this platform. I think
that today Internet, TV, movies influence on many people today.
Some people today want to keep up with fashion.
In
conclusion, I want to say that nowadays exist many trends.
However, first of all you should choose what you like and
shouldn't blindly follow trends.

TV show that made you laugh a lot
I
would like to tell you about a TV show that make me laugh a lot.
It is called "Improvisation". I don't like TV
programmers but that show is hilarious.
First
time when I watched it was when my friend and I wanted to watch
something very gripping. We found a show where 4 actors were
improvising during the whole program. An atmosphere was so cool
and the first minutes of the show were breathtaking and we lost
the count of time.
'Improvisation'
has not plot. There are no special effects or music. Four actors
grab your attention and make the show incomparable.
I
laugh because the humor is funny and this show helps me to get
away from everything at least for 1 hour.

I
would like to tell you about great anti-utopia book I’ve read
recently. This book is a novel «We» written by Evgeniy Zamyatin
and considered to be one of the first great anti-utopia novels.
The main character is D-503, a citizen of a great new world, fully
controlled by government and where everyone is equal to other
people. The plot tells us filled with logic and seem crazy to us
and what happened to the main character after he had met an
unusual woman I-330. This book has a great influence on me and my
vision of perfect society and human’s race future. This is a
very exciting novel; I would recommend it to everyone.

A crime you heard of
In
the modern word, everyone can become a victim of something or
somebody. But unfortunately in most cases human is being the
danger for human. There are a lot of messages on TV and in the
Internet about different crimes. Sometimes we can become
involuntary witnesses of such crimes.
I
want to tell you about a case of my life. Last month I visited a
bookstore. I noticed a man who tried to steal a book. I was really
surprised, when I saw happening, because the man was elderly and
looks neatly. I made me think that sometimes people do not feel
any responsibility for such little crimes. But when you try to
commit a crime, you should think about other people and do what
your conscience tell you.
In
the end I would like to tell you that there are many factors that
affect human behavior and make people commit crimes. But I think
that the main thing is to choose the right way of life and do not
break rules.

Rule you did not like in school
Every
school has its own rules. I studied in regular school. And the
students hated the rule of uniform. We wouldn't be so angry about
it if the uniform have been beautiful or at least comfortable. If
you didn't wear a uniform it was considered as a bad behavior.
Students who broke the local law were under suspect. Later
teacher allow us to wear office cloths, not the uniform. These
days I stopped wearing uniform and become a little happy.
A
lot of students broke the rule but then there were consequences
for them. There were different consequences such as a talk with
parents.
Also,
we all studied on Saturdays when other school didn't. Interesting
that when I left school for the next year the students stopped
studying on Saturdays.
