Part 1. Research Your Future Employer

I am interested in the company “PHR”, so I would like to describe this company. It was founded about 50 years ago and it is present on the automotive market in Russia since 1995. It is a Croatian company that is specialized in automotive`s exterior / interior segment for different types of cars.


ZAO “PHR” company cooperates with a number of automobile plants but its main customers are OAO “AutoVaz” and “Ford Motors Company” and ZAO “Autophramos” – the representative of the company “Reno- Nissan” in Russia.

The company consists of two parts – the administrative building and the working building where plastic components for cars are produced. The administrative building includes the positions of a secretary, an office manager, accountants, personal department, technical staff and others. Of course, the boss of the company is in this building too.

I would like to work in the administrative building as a logistician. I am going to be responsible for preparing necessary documentation. Besides this position assumes that I have to find reliable partners and organize the most profitable supply chain. To my mind I have some suitable characteristics that can share with my potential employer. I have a diploma in the specialty “customer service manager in the logistics department” and some experience working as a logistics in small company. I have good knowledge of written and spoken English and knowledge of a computer – a confident user of Excel and ATI.SU – cargo transportation exchange. And of course, my hard work, determination and the skill of high-quality organization of work in the field of transport services is indicated in the recommendations from my previous employer.
