LADY WATT IS ACCUSED OF SHOPLIFTING

Lady Watt: On Wednesday morning I went to Harrod's department store to shop and meet a friend for lunch. In the women's fashion department, I bought a belt and a bag and paid for them. When I was waiting for the elevator to go up to the rooftop cafe, I saw a silk scarf that I liked. I tried it on and decided to buy it. I looked around for the saleswoman, but I didn't see anyone. The elevator came, and since I was late for the meeting, I put the scarf along with other purchases, intending to pay for it later on the way. Unfortunately, I forgot to pay and was stopped at the door by a store security guard who asked me to go to the manager's office, where I was accused of stealing a scarf. It's pretty ridiculous. I just forgot to pay.

Security guard from the store: I was on duty on the second floor when I noticed Lady Watt trying on a scarf. She looked at herself in the mirror, looked around several times and put the scarf in her bag. Then she took the elevator to a cafe on the top floor, where she met a man. I kept watching, and when they left together, I followed them to the door. She didn't try to pay, so I stopped her and asked her to come with me to the manager's office. She started insulting me and refused to come with me until a policeman arrived at the scene.
