The tours that are put together for resort holidays rather than special groups often offer some entertainment or sightseeing in the package as an added inducement. For instance, this may be in the nature of a "Night in Acapulco," with visits to three nightclubs and one prepaid drink in each. Or if the tour destination is in or near an area that contains historical or natural attractions, as we mentioned in the case of San Juan, sightseeing excursions may be part of the package.
The two huge Disney enterprises, Disneyland in California and Disney World in Florida, are the most successful examples of this kind of created tourist attraction. From a commercial point of view, they have the enormous advantage in that they are designed to appeal to entire family groups rather than to any particular age level.

DUBAI TOURS AND SAFARIS
Dubai’s tour companies offer a variety of city tours of different duration and at different times of the day. As the city is compact and the roads are good, it is possible to take in most of the city’s major landmarks and sights. These would include the Greek, the souks and traditional markets, dhow-building yards, Sheikh Saeed’s House, the Heritage and Diving Village, Dubai Museum and the stunning golf courses. Specialized shopping tours offer an introduction to select souks and major shopping areas in Dubai and nearby Sharjah. Such tours are especially attractive to visitors with limited time to organize their own shopping expeditions.
An imaginative way of seeing Dubai is to take a tour of the Greek by traditional wooden dhow or cabin cruiser. Most of the major landmarks can be seen from the waterway. Daytime or evening cruises are available with food and beverages on board.
No visit to Dubai would be complete without a trip into the desert. Such excursions, which are the best organized as part of a group tour, offer a taste of the true heartland of Arabia. The majesty and tranquility of the desert can be experienced in a choice of exciting half-day, full-day and overnight safaris. Driving in sand is an adventure in itself, combining the excitement of a roller-coaster ride with the challenge of remaining mobile on the shifting surface. Courses in sand driving are available, with four-wheel-drive vehicles provided along with expert instruction.
Camel, a symbol of Arabia, is also a major tourist attraction. Camel rides are part of some tours and desert safaris. Tour operators and hotels can also arrange camel rides separately. A trip to the camel races, which take place on Thursday and Friday during the winter months, can be one of the most memorable highlights of any visit to Dubai.
Visitors with a head for heights and a weakness for the dramatic can enjoy the excitement of a helicopter tour over the city.
With nearly 400 species of birds observed in the Emirate, Dubai attracts many birdwatchers. Customized bird watching tours range from a day or two to a week or more, and take in full range of landscapes, from parks and golf clubs, to desert, mountain and Greek.

THE OLD CITY OF BATURIN
If you are looking for the feelings of antiquity, provincial peace and communication with kindly locals, Baturin is the place you need.
Baturin doubly was capital of Levoberezhnaja Ukraine. Today it is the small village arranged in 190 kilometres from Kiev, in picturesque surroundings, which is possible to be contemplated from rather abrupt coast of the river Seym. In Baturin there is a monument to the prominent Ukrainian beekeeper Peter Prokopovich. He first-ever has invented a movable-frame hive.
Inhabitants of Baturin are proud that, their ancestors two centuries lived near the hetmans and their city had the status Magdebourg. From those times the palace of the last hetman Cyril Razumovsky, сreated by the eminent Englishman Cameron, building up half of Petersburg, was saved.
Now the palace is being restored. Further you should be shaded slide for the pointers: a sign even points an oak which hollow was for a letter box for Ivan Mazepy and Motri Kochubey correspondence. Country museum of local lore, history and economy is situated in Vasilj Kochubey’s dwelling, described by Pushkin in "Poltava"

You will be pleased with the only unique small restaurant under a simple title “Old Baturin” and surprised not only by the prices, but also by the local cuisine. The masters will make you delicious coffee with the all knack of cookery.
You can get there with your friends by car following the highway to Moscow. The local inhabitants like the visitors from the capital, so that you will get accommodation without any problems.
You will not be able to resist local charm of this town.

REASONS TO VISIT THE BALATON
Enchanting landscape. The famous nineteenth-century Hungarian writer Mor Jokay wrote about the Balaton: “The longer one views this land, the prettier it seems, and laugh if you will, but I say the entire landscape is smiling”.
Silky water. The Balaton is the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe. The pleasant warmth of water soothes both body and spirit. The water warms quickly to 20 to 22 degrees, and occasionally reaches even 28 degrees. The southern shore is favoured by families with children.
Siofok. One of the centers of the region, Siofok offers a colorful, rich variety of discos, but lovers of light opera have also come to the right place, as it was the birthplace of Imre Kálmán, composer of The Csardas Queen. A two-month light opera festival is held every summer in his memory.
Active recreation and sport. Of the numerous cross-lake competitions, the swim across the Balaton has grown to become one of Europe’s largest amateur swimming events. Sailing and windsurfing is permitted anywhere, and wake-boarding is possible at a number of points on the lake.
Curative waters. This lake, covered with India red water lilies, is the world’s second-largest thermal lake, with a depth of 36 meters at the crater. The curative water and mud from the lake is excellent for the treatment of motor ailments.
Keszthely - the cultural capital of Balaton. It’s the oldest settlement on the Balaton shore. Everything worth knowing about the Balaton can be found collected at the Balaton Museum.
Treasure peninsula Tihany. Of the Benedictine Abbey founded in Tihany in 1055, the only remains today are the crypt housing the tomb of King Andrew I and the founding charter of the abbey, the earliest surviving document in the Hungarian language.
Wines. Five of Hungary’s 22 wine regions are located around the Balaton.
Wide variety of activities. The number of horse shows, folklore programmes, harvest festivals, exhibitions and concerts is beyond counting, a full listing of everything would be impossible

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS AND ENTERTAINMENT (2)
Natural scenery has always been an attraction for tourists. Millions of people have visited Niagara Falls, for example. Its reputation as a place for a honeymoon is world-famous. The United States has institutionalized, so to speak, the wonders of nature, in its National Park system.
Areas such as Yosemite, Yellowstone, and the Grand Canyon have been set aside for the enjoyment of the public. The parks contain hotels, restaurants, camping areas, and other facilities that have made them major recreation centers. The hardier species of tourist will travel further and undergo discomfort and difficulty just to look at beautiful or unusual scenery in the remote corners of the world—a glimpse of Mount Everest, for example, or of the Angel Falls in Venezuela.
In connection with the big cities, we mentioned shopping as a tourist attraction, but urban centers are not the only tourist destinations that concentrate on this activity. Hong Kong is perhaps the most famous example. Hong Kong is a large city and commercial center, but its principal draw for tourists has been the bargains offered in its shops. Shopping has been made a tourist magnet by government policy in some places. For instance, Charlotte Amalie in the U.S. Virgin Islands are a free port where buyers can purchase goods from all over the world without paying customs duties. Handicrafts also appeal to touring shoppers in many places. In fact, the souvenir shop that sells this kind of merchandise is as much a feature of most tourist areas as the hotel. Take, for example, the hand-woven fabrics of Guatemala. Most people who visit that country take home at least one sample of this local handicraft.
We have already discussed the holiday resorts at some length. These usually attract tourists because of their sunny beaches, their snow-covered ski slopes, or their championship golf courses. In addition, they frequently offer other kinds of entertainment to their guests. At the ski resorts, it is often an atmosphere of informality around a roaring fire after the day's skiing is finished. Many of the resorts give instruction in scuba diving combined with visits to coral reefs. And of course most of them have a variety of stores and souvenir shops.
