TERMINOLOGICAL MINIMUM

FOR THE FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

Настоящий терминологический минимум предназначен для студентов КБТУ ФИТ, изучающих английский язык в рамках курса английского языка для профессиональных целей (English for Professional Purposes) с целью расширения профессионального словарного запаса студентов КБТУ и их более эффективной подготовки к будущей профессиональной деятельности.

Он также может быть использован магистрантами, аспирантами, преподавателями и широким кругом лиц, самостоятельно изучающих научно-техническую литературу по специальности.

Предлагаемый минимум 200 наиболее употребительных терминов по нефти и газу. Он построен по алфавитному принципу. Основные термины (250 единиц) выделены жирным шрифтом, и представлены на уровне слово- и фразообразования. Для удобства пользования, все наиболее употребительные словосочетания отделены дефисом. Термины обеспечены переводом на казахский и русский языки. Их закрепление обеспечивается лексическими упражнениями, которые снабжены ключами. В составлении ключей к лексическим упражнениям принимал участи студент 2 курса ФИТ Кузбаков Ерлан.

Отбор единиц терминологического минимума и перевод терминов на казахский язык согласованы с соответствующими профильными кафедрами университета.

При его составлении авторы использовали следующие словари:

Методические указания

Предлагаемый терминологический минимум является составной частью СРС по дисциплине "Английский язык для профессиональных целей", предлагаемой студентам ФИТ. Он содержит 200 наиболее употребительных терминов в области информационных технологий.

Терминологический минимум построен по алфавитно-гнездовому принципу. Включенные в него термины обеспечены переводом и представлены на уровне слово- и фразообразования. Основное слово каждой словарной статьи подчеркнуто.

Каждый раздел ТМ поделен на порции, содержащие 20 словарных статей. Термины, предназначенные для активного усвоения, выделены жирным шрифтом (по 25 терминов на каждые 20 словарных статей ТМ). После каждого раздела ТМ предлагаются упражнения на его активизацию. Эти упражнения снабжены ключами, по которым студенты могут проверять правильность их выполнения самостоятельно. Усвоение каждой порции ТМ систематически проверяется в форме мини-тестов (квизов).

Работа над терминологическим минимумом рассчитана на время, в течение которого студенты изучают АПЦ. При этом усвоение каждых очередных 25 словарных единиц, подлежащих самостоятельному изучению в течение соответствующей учебной недели, закрепляется в ходе самостоятельного выполнения лексических упражнений и их самопроверки при помощи ключей и проверяется во время словарных мини-тестов.

Работа студентов над ТМ ведется в соответствии с установленным графиком и отражается в текущем рейтинге (см. силлабус АПЦ).
