2. Short course description:
The aim of teaching discipline "Information and Communication Technologies" is to get information and communication competencies, such as the basic methods and means of obtaining, storing, processing of information and use ICT of information technology to address substantive problems area.
Discipline study tasks
- to consider the basic principles of work and use of ICT;
- to teach students to use PC software in solving general and educational tasks;
- to give students the skills to use the possibilities of network and cloud technologies in everyday life and in educational activities.
Prerequisites:
Students should know "at the entrance" to study the discipline of ICT the basics of the disciplines:Mathematics, Informatics and Physics.
Post-requisites:
Students must use the acquired competencies after completing the course of the discipline Information and communication technologies:

4. Basic forms and methods of training
For study the discipline, “Information and communication technologies” the main forms of training are the theoretical, practical and self-study preparation of the students. In addition, we use the interactive teaching, the design, discussion, and the research methods, and so on for teaching this discipline. Students perform laboratory work in computer classes.
